I know, this is the installers' forum, but I have looked for other forums to ask this question. Most of them seem to be arranged by brand, and I want to ask which brands I should look at, so there is no place to ask.
Do you guys know which currently available printers have cartridges that can be refilled? We had a great little Canon printer, and recently replaced it with the ip5200, only to find at the end of one cartridge that they now have a little PC board with some kind of circuit that won't let the cartridge be used once it has gotten low. In fact, I filled a couple of cartridges today that were at 40%, and the machine now says they are empty!
We went to the Canon after discovering that HP cartridges have the little PC board.
Any ideas?
Thanks In Advance
