I went to Home Depot. Got a chunk of their largest diameter PVC, and a can of antique whitre spray paint to match the ceiling. Took down the projector, but left the pipe attached. Measured down from the ceiling to the top of the projector. Cut and painted the PVC. Slid the PVC over the post, dropped the wiring down inside the PVC. Carefully remounted the projector.
Looks great, have done this a number of times. costs about $10.00 looks great! (Don't forget a PVC cutter or Hack Saw, and use quick drying paint.
