It looks like a snapsot of a slide being shown during a presentation somewhere. It clearly states "Next Generation DVD Brand Share" Below it says "YTD" which usually means Year To Date", wth the date being 12/22/07.

Next generation is clearly HD-DVD and Blu-Ray Players. The slide implies (don't know how truthful or accurate) that Toshiba sold 49.3% of all HD players sold in 2007.

Of course that leaves 50.7%. Some of that will include combination players that play both HD-DVD and Blu-Ray (LG?). No Microsoft listed, so I'll assume no game machine sales were included.

It looks like a wash to me. Each side getting "about" half the sales. Toshiba wins for individual brand share, but that's literaly only half the story in that slide.
