The Sharp protocol (Sharp.irp)is included in the files from GenIRDB. John Fine's Makehex has a very similar protocol file included in its files. John and Barry collaborated on decoding a number of common IR protocols.

John has more recently written decoders for ccf(DecodeCCF) and cml files (cml2efc), that will decode according to Protocol, device/sub-device and function. There is also a modified version of IRTool that can decode pronto hex. Those can be found in tthe files at the JP1 Yahoo group at [Link: groups.yahoo.com] under files|tools or programs however you will neeed to go through the process of joining the group first. You must also download DecodeIR.dll and place in your windows\system file.
