I agree with him about the dedicated antenna, filters, etc.
CBS in Chicago is the worst.
A few qualifying questions:
1) Do you have (or can you have) a roof mounted tripod, gable mounted mast, or tower?
2) Do you have (or can you have) a rotor (aka rotator)??
3) Do you have (or can you have) a preamp at the antenna location??
You need gain (large multi-element antenna), and gain (signal amplification to ensure that the signal from your antenna makes the trip down the coax to distribution without loss).
If you CAN support an antenna with a 100"+ boom length, I suppose I would recommend a Winegard HD4053P and a AP-8700 or AP-2870 preamp...
