Ed, CBS high def broadcasts on Ch 3 from the Hancock, not the Sears. From your location the two have different bearings (you're a boater, right? Not a motor bearing...)
You may want to install a separate vhf antenna, some channel blockers, etc. Rick said he would be happy to design the whole system for you.
