Puppies **LOVE** to be played with! They are much more well-adjusted (and you learn *so* much more about them) if you simply PLAY with them ! ! !
By this I mean, Download a few CCFs, (whether they'll work on your set-up or not) run 'em on the EMULATOR to see how the jumps and drop-down lists work. Then disect 'em in ProntoEdit to find out exactly what was done to accomplish those jumps and aliases. Explore how the Hidden "ugly" panels work that everyone seems to eventually come around to aliasing to. Right Click, Left Click, w/Alt. and Ctrl., Drag & Drop, Add, Delete, Copy & Paste, Check & Un-check, Move and Merge (this one first, then that one first). Don't be afraid to change things in pronto.ini, either on your own or with Pronto.ini Workshop. Unlike "real" puppies this one comes complete with FAQs, Manuals, Reviews and *MANY* like-minded individuals who love the same breed and can be depended on to give Good, Sound Advice when asked.
On the software side there really isn't much you can do that isn't recoverable since the TSU2000 Firmware Update was released.
It's true that on the Hardware front much care & due diligence should be exercised. But, if you are careful and do your homework and can follow instructions others have laid out for you, much can be accomplished here as well.
So play with it **much** in it's infancy and it will reward you with many tricks as it matures - (this puppy **LOVES** doing tricks!). And when you *think* you have it all trained and you tell it to fetch the news, don't be surprised (or upset) if it brings you TeleTubbies. Just take it back to the "training area" and give it a little tweak - after all it *was* probably an Owner's Oversight, now wasn't it?
