with no results. waiting on tgrugett!

OK... here it is...

Facing the 8 pin male plug with two pins on the bottom and three on the top, count pins 1-8 left to right and bottom to top (pin 1 in the lower left and pin 8 in the top right). This is the inverted view from the female layout.

On the RJ45 is, of course, 1-8 left to right with tab down and end facing away from you.

RJ45 pin1 = male 8 pin7 = data (left pair white conductor)
RJ45 pin2 = male 8 pin5&8 = ground (left pair drain common at male 8 end)
RJ45 pin3 = N/A
RJ45 pin4 = N/A
RJ45 pin5 = male 8 pin5&8 = "audio" reference ground (right pair drain common at male 8 end)
RJ45 pin6 = NA
RJ45 pin7 = male 8 pin1 (right pair white conductor) = SPDIF 0
RJ45 pin8 = male 8 pin2 (right pair red conductor) = SPDIF 1

I am not sure of the polarity for the SPDIF because Bose only documents 0 and 1.
