We have a client that is a DISH network user. They have 3 HD receivers with Tivo series 2 boxes connected to them. Client is HUGE Tivo fan (as am I) and has to have Tivo. If DirecTV would get their heads out of their rears and put Tivo back in their DVR's would the world be a better place....

Anyhow, so the issue is that the Dish Network receivers go into a Standby or Hibernation mode every day. I am not sure if this is at a set time or if it is after a certain period of inactivity. If anyone knows, please let me know. We are taking over a project and the old Crestron programmer/Installer programmed the Crestron system to
"press select" every hour to keep the system from going into standby. As you are probably aware, this is a horrible solution as it presses select when they may be watching a program, recording a show, or while they are in the guide.

If someone has has this issue on Dish network and found an elegant solution to this, please let me know
