I do have an MRF-350 in the other room controlling my
AV Equipment but was trying to avoid running an IR eye
all the way back to my TV. I just don't get how they can
have 2 codes on the TV to allow for 2 different remote
signals (to avoid interference) but not allow the remote
to change codes to match up.
Reality calling EZ44, are you there?
As others have said, this is a TV that was built to roll out of a warehouse club on a flat cart, not to be custom installed. Maybe you should move to China with your engineering skills and set them straight. :-) Just route the IR and get over it.
