Panasonic support is of no use as they state all their
Viera TV remotes are universal and cannot be changed from
CODE A to CODE B. If that is true then why make it an
option in the service menu??
Panasonic is a mass quantity product, not really a tweaker product. That said, I harbor major angst towards Panasonic from all of their fantastic products over the years (no discretes, failures etc) I'm sure if the tech support person got a nickel for every "how come your product wasn't designed to do this", they could buy a gallon of gas.
I would do IR routing with a Harmony remote;-)
