For those of you looking for the Sammy info... The link above has the cable schematic/rs-232 settings & commands. Sorry about the .gif file. Thats how i got it.

FYI

The RS-232 commands only work when the display is ON. RS-232 does not work when the TV is OFF. This means that you can't use RS-232 to turn the TV ON. So your going to be using IR anyway.
