Daniel is correct. I need to get a 3100 so I can understand its workings better.
You can either make a key macro (page 62), or you can learn up to 4 signals on one key (page 53).
I may be wrong, but the way I read the key macro feature, you can only use the label keys, but with the learn feature you can use any key. And the learn feature is easier than micro-macros.
