Sorry, no way to program a favorite channel on the 3100.

You can't make a macro with "steps". Once you press the key, it executes the entire macro.

I have made micro-macros on many keys on my tv screen to do just what you are asking, but of course they are on separate keys and will only change the same channel each time.

If you want to do this, just place the tv remote opposite the 3100, and then quickly press the buttons you want, such as 1-1-enter. The learning time on the 3100 is long enough that 3 commands, or even 4, shouldn't be a problem, but it will take a little practice.
