So I've programmed it with code #3103 for the Motorola digital cable box number, and that allows me to control a couple functions through the box, but only a fraction of the normal functions. I tried to do the search function to find the code, but the only one that even turned on the box was #9001, and that didn't allow me to do much else besides turn it on and control the volume. I used the original remote to start a recorded show, but the controls on the RM VL1000 still wouldn't even allow me to FF or Rew the show. Just thought I'd add this info; hope someone out there can help, maybe there's another code # for the Motorola cable box/DVR? I got it through Cox Communications if that helps. Thanks.
