Read the manual that came with your remote thoroughly please. It explains basic programming very well. What it doesn't tell you includes:

You can learn a command from another remote, Put a macro, remap a key, or program in an advanced code on any key other than SETUP, SLEEP, and the 7 device keys.

If you press the SETUP key right before the target key in any programming sequence the programmed function will be "stacked" above the original function of that key. Pressing the key gets the original function. Pressing SETUP THEN the key will get you the secondary stacked function. Any key (see above) can have two distinct functions this way.

There seems to be 180 programming "units". A single step in a macro sequence uses one unit. Each remapped or advanced code programmed key uses 4 units.

Learned keys use a different section of memory, and the number of learned keys you get varies with the varying length of IR commands taught. Most get from 12 to 30 keys taught before running out of learn memory.

The only way to test is to keep count as you program in keys, and keep programming in until you can't do it anymore. That's how I deduced this info.

Good luck with your Cinema7. I love mine.

Dave
