Sounds like a plan. I'll offer the first information donation. Someone on this forum was once trying to find a way to insert a delay in a macro without wasting a lot of macro steps, and an original suggestion was made by someone identifying himself as "alfaman", which I will quote here:
>For the best delay, use the Zenith VCR (code >0039) "record" button. (As a safety feature, >some Zenith models require that you hold the >record key for 3 to 4 seconds, and the Cinema 7 >will reproduce this when it plays back the >macro.) > >BTW, you don't have to waste a whole device page >to do this. Set up to 0039, copy (994) the VCR >record button to the record key in some other >mode where it is unused -- CD for example - - >then set your VCR back to what you want. The >Zenith code will "stick" on the CD record key, >even when you change the VCR to a different >brand. The only trick is that you MUST put the >Zenith code on the "record" button to get the >long delay.
I haven't actually tried this, but is this the kind of trick you're looking for?
