I checked out this page (it's of interest to Cinema7ophiles, once you
are able to get past the bizarre translation and "decipher" certain
key phrases), but I have seen no direct reference to the Cinema 7. The
author makes reference to other OFA models, ie. "One For All 6", "OFA
LITE", etc. Maybe his references are a European equivalent of the
Cinema 7, but I have verified that any references to commands with
"996" or above do not work with the C7. Those of 990 to 995 do
however, and there are a few commands he talks about that I have not
seen referenced elsewhere here, but no "magic bullet" (ie. nothing I
didn't already know how to do in one way or another).

As for the so-called "DANGEROUS CODE" he mentions, what he appears to
be referring to when he says it will erase "new codes" is the upgrade
programming OFA does on certain models after you send it in (or have
it done on the phone, depending upon your model). Since the C7 has no
such capability, this should not have such an effect on it. All
non-user programmed codes (namely the device codes) in the C7 are
"hard-wired", so I don't believe anything you punch into the remote
can erase those codes. Anyone care to prove me WRONG??! If so, just
enter [command sequence]: MAGIC** 981. I imagine it would work like
"980" (ie. you erase your own programming), if indeed it works at all
on the C7. I'd do it myself you know, just for curiosity's sake, but I
just got finished writing and entering my memory pool's limit of
macros and EFC's, etc., etc... Speaking of EFC's, I don't see any
reason to believe there is anything special in the 100-355 range, that
the author of the FAQ makes mention of. I've always used 000-255, and
it's my understanding that they are simply repeated a few times within
the 000-999 range, so anything in 100-355 should be in 000-255. He
probably just finds it easier to remember numbers in that range.

I've also checked out the software he makes reference to. It is not
designed for the C7, but other OFA model(s), although it appears it
would work to control the C7, if the pinout arrangement and related
circuitry is the same as those models. However, as far as I can tell
in a brief review, all it does is control your remote via PC. Why
anyone would want to buy a special cable and obtain special software
in order to use a PC to emulate the buttons on their remote when they
could do the same thing by hitting the remote's keys I have no earthly
idea. I guess you have to be a computer engineer to appreciate that
option.

These are the command sequences below that I lifted from the French C7
FAQ that might be of interest to C7ophiles, some of which may not have
appeared on this forum before (or at least in this form...). I'm
reprinting them in case you wish to add them in a future ver. of the
NA C7 FAQ, if they are not yet included (I have translated them from
"babblespeak" to a form understandable to me. DEV=device, nnn=3 digit
number):
