"But really Dave you need to tell how you use the Cinema seven to activate X-10 Macros..."
I don't activate X-10 macros with the Cinema7, although I could if I had any need for X-10 macros. What I do with my modified Cinema7 is allow my X-10 Eagle-Eye motion sensor on the front porch trigger one of the Cinema's macro buttons via an X-10 universal module when it senses motion. The macro on the Cinema send IR command to my Home theater equipment to:
Power on the VCR (which the porch camera is wired into). Turn on the TV's PIP feature to view the porch camera signal or Start the VCR recording to capture activity when I'm not home.
"I've forgotten the details but I want to take you up on your $50 offer to make one of those for me with the plug in the side."
Send me an email. My Cinema7 modification may not be what you'll need. We can discuss it further via email.
"Too cool! I'm just starting with the X-10 stuff but with your help I'm gonna' have it all!"
