I can't comment much on the 15-1995. It's not a learning remote, so I've never looked at it much.

The 15-1994, on the other hand, is operationally similar to the Cinema 6, as you've probably heard. This means that you can use an existing remote to teach the 15-1994 what code to use on just about any button (the instructions only say that you can use the four special buttons, but that isn't the case).

Here's the address for the Cinema 7 FAQ. Just about everything there applies to the 15-1994 as well. This will explain how to set up the advanced codes, and shows you a way to guess at the advanced codes as well.

Once you've figured out what basic codes you're using, you can go to http://www.oneforall.com and nose around. You'll find a form where if you tell them the basic codes and the brand of the equipment, they'll email you (in about a week, don't be too impatient) a list of the advanced codes that matches your system.
