So here I sit, feeling much like a moron. In front of me are two remotes, the 15-1994 and the 15-1995. I can't decide which one to keep and which one to return, because I can't get EITHER of them to work completely with any of my equipment. I have found function codes that control SOME of the functions on each piece of my system, so I know I must be in the right ballpark. But since some buttons work and some buttons don't, I can only assume that I need the "advanced functions" codes that I have been reading about, but have no idea how to get them or program them. So maybe one of you out there can help me.
Here is my list of equipment:
TV: Sony KP-53V75 VCR: RCA VR683HF (yes it's old...but guess what? It can copy DVD's...go figure) Tuner: Kenwood VR-209 DVD: Sony DVP-S330
So first question: What are the correct codes for these pieces of equipment?
Second question: What are or where can I find the "advanced codes" for these?
Third Question: How do I program these advanced codes into the 15-1994?
Fourth Question: How do I program these advanced codes into the 15-1995?
HELP! One of these remotes will go back, or maybe both of them will, but I'd like to try them out.
