I'm new to the game, and this is my first attempt to figure things out. Have a 15-1994 and am trying to control an old SONY CDP-C505 CD player, for which the original remote has been (cough, cough) "misplaced."

Anyway, I have tried all the device codes listed for the Sony CD players, and none of them seem to make the thing respond to the POWER button.

So then I left it at CD 0000, and tried all the button codes. While I can find most of the functions I need in this manner, there still doesn't seem to be a EFC that makes the thing toggle the power, let alone a discrete function.

Is this possible? Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
