I have an old URC-4063B06 which works fine with my Jerrold Impulse analog cable box. I just picked up a 6012W and got it to work with everything else (Sony vcr, Panasonic dvd, Kenwood receiver, Mitsubishi tv) but it won't take any of the Jerrold codes that came with the manual.

I tried all the codes listed for Jerrold and General Instruments and still no go.

The code that works with the 4063 is 003. I thought the 6012 might like 0003, but when I try that one, I don't get the two blink showing its a valid code, but rather one steady.

So, my questions are: Is it broke? or is that cable box to ancient for the remote to control it? Can I "teach" the new one directly from the old one? If this remote will not control the box, can you recommend an OFA that will (5 device+)?
