I need a code to work my LG RI-32CZ10RX television

Most of us have no idea what signals that TV uses. I don't even know if LG is a brand or just part of the model number.
If you can't find the setup code yourself (there might not be one) you might want to look in the ccf file archives (of the pronto group here) or in the device folders of the Yahoo JP1 group. If you find your device in either of those places, the information in that file would tell any JP1 expert whether you can support the device without JP1 and/or how you can support it with JP1.
Failing that, you could use the 7562's learning feature to handle as many functions as fit, or use it with JP1 to download and decode a few functions and figure out the same info that a ccf file would have given.

Also - the supplied code for my CyberHome dvd
(0714) DID work but now it doesn't.

I have no information about any 0714 code. If you haven't mistyped that number, it means that setup code was an upgrade in your remote (not built in) and I assume it was destroyed when you tried to get another upgrade from OFA.

I tried downloading a code from the website for
the LG and I'm worried it's done something to
the overall setup.

Right. If you decide not to use JP1, I'm sure there is a way to get that website to give you a replacement for the 0714 code it overwrote. Since the LG update didn't work anyway, you don't need to worry about losing that when you put back the 0714. If you did find an LG upgrade there that worked, there is a way to get the website to send you a .wav file with multiple upgrades at once, so you can have both the LG and the 0714. I've never used the website so I don't know how you make it do that.

does anyone know if the IR.exe
could be the answer and if so how do I use it..

It is the answer. To use it you need a JP1 cable. Then join the Yahoo JP1 group and read the FAQ there. The basics are all explained.

You can learn signals from each of your problem devices and download those to IR.EXE and it will (usually) decode them, giving the information required to create an upgrade for the device. (IR.EXE can also read the existing upgrades from the 7562, so it can add new upgrades without destroying the old ones. That would have helped a lot before you destroyed the 0714 upgrade; Now it won't make much difference).
