There is a DirecTV remote made by UEI that is good as a TiVo remote replacement. It uses the 1142 code for Hughes and Philips Tivos and 1639 for Sony. Model number is DTVURC1. Does all the TiVo functions, has lighted Nav buttons and does all the menu functions on my Sony Wega TV which is something the TiVo peanut and Cine 7 won't do. It does not have learning capability. It has the 6 pin JP1 connection. When you can find it on ebay, it is usually 7 to $14 plus shipping. DirecTV sometimes ships these blue remotes with re-furb non-TiVo Hughes receivers.
