I’m new to the forum and tried to read as much as I could before posting this. I have the new RS 15-2116 remote but am unable to get it to work with my Onkyo HT-R500 A/V Receiver.

I’ve successfully programmed the following devices onto the RS 15-2116: Sony TV, Sony VCR, RCA DIRECTV Receiver, Hughes DTivo Receiver, and a Pioneer DVD. However, I cannot find any Onkyo code under both the Amp and Rcvr in the users manual. I’ve tried programming the receiver in question with both the Amp and Rcvr device buttons using the code search procedure to no avail. I get a “code not found” when I tried put in Rcvr 0135.

Since Onkyo was not listed under Amp/Receiver in the code table (strange that RS would take out Onkyo from 15-2116, older model remotes supported Onkyo receivers using code 0135), is there another receiver code that’s compatible to the Onkyo? Thanks in advance for any assistance you could provide.
