Did they really say "without JP1".

I don't have an 8910 or 2116 to test, but I'm pretty sure each of them can have macros on device keys without an extender, but not without JP1.

Do you really use just the macros-on-device-keys feature of the extender? There is so much the extender lets you do, that I'd think anyone who learned how to use it would find more that they want to use it for.

I don't believe the 8910 or 2116 have any other extender features built in.
