My ph1 is not working either. Could this be the reason? I looked in the rdf file for the 2116 and saw this:

ph1=41,ph2,ph3,ph4=45,ph5,ph6=58,ph7,ph8,ph9

why the equal signs with a two digit number to the right?

On a related note, can I rename in the rdf file ph2 and ph2 to discrete on and discrete off? I have a helluva of a time remembering if I assinged ph2 or 3 to discrete on/off. I remember for the 1994 it had discrete on and off available as keys.

thxs.

Found a way to use the PHANTOM KEY (ph 1-9)
It seems, for what ever reason, that (ph1) does
not work on my setup.
However, this programing works for me:
Using KEY MOVES:
TV ph2 TV TV 0000 $F4 109(aka 365
or 621)
VCR ph3 VCR VCR 0032 " " " "
" "

DVD ph4 DVD DVD 0533 " " " "
" "

Using MACROS:
Power TV;ph2;VCR;ph3;DVD;ph4 (Turns these devices
off) (All Sony's)

Hope this will help others with the PHANTOM KEY.
Thanks
Jack Relahan
