i don't think it's really a device key. In IR it doesn't show up as an available device key.

It's a useful concept in the sense you don't have to waste keymoves moving volume keys to some other device besides tv. I punch through everything to receiver except for sat and tv. the my system key was perfect because i was going to use it for my sat system and would have assigned the tv as the volume group. but once you are in that mode you can't turn anything off with power.

so it's either use another key for a power macro besides power, or not use my system and do the key moves for volume to sat. i am going to try out using the tv device key as a power macro see if that works out for the wife.
