I think your tech might have been partially confused. Decimal 16 is typically the amplifier device code for RC5 protocols. 16 Hex is decimal 22 so that may be why he said that.

Decimal 22 in RC5 is Satellite A and I don't know any built in setup codes that are for that device code. But, if I am right about all the above (that it is decimal 16 not 16 Hex), then it is Audio_0269 or Audio_0891 in most OFA remotes. If you tell us your model of remote, the maybe we can figure out what setup codes it has if those don't work.

If it really is 22 decimal, and your remote is JP1 capable, you can easily do that with a device upgrade using the JP1 tools, but you might as well ask them the command numbers too as it will save searching through 128 possibilities.
