I agree there's a lot of glue -- there's enough so that it's hard to remove the puck without hurting things.
You think the coil is completely separate? When I got done taking the puck and the coil out (I wasn't trying to take the coil out, but you know how that is...), the remote still seemed to work fine. So I figured the coil was in fact somehow tied to the puck. Possible?
