RCVR 1023 won't accept advanced codes, but AMP0013 will, it is in the 2116. So you need to apply the advanced codes you get from AMP0013 to RCVR1023. To start you need one device AMP0013 and another RCVR1023, once done you can turn AMP0013 into whatever you like. Check here for advanced codes for AMP0013;

2. scroll down to keymover
3. select
4. AMP(0013)
5. hit P
6. advanced code
7. select
8. RCVR(1023)
9. pick a key
10. exit

It worked for me.
