I think "Thank you Jonathan" might be a little more appropriate than "hail UEC". I suspect Jonathan might have been helpful on his own time rather than carrying out company policy.
Did he send you files you could download through your own JP1 cable? Or did you need to mail in your C7?
So I'm gonna get an 8811 and send it in for a
AMP/1431 upgrade.
If you have the AMP/1431 file and you have a JP1 cable, there doesn't seem much point to mailing in the 8811. With the KM Excel spreadsheet you can easily change a Cinema7 file for AMP/1431 into an 8811 file for AMP/1431, and load it into the 8811 yourself.
