1. I can not control my 7 yr old JVC VCR (HR A62V). Does anyone one here know code for this remote and how to upgrade it if is not in the library? I have tried both 0067 and 0041 given in the manual. I called the tech support and the rep. told me the code is 0067 and he was not sure what I should do if it does not work. I have tried all manual codes and nothing works! I can use my Sony Recv remote to control the VCR I don't know why this one does not work.
a. Does anyone know code for this remote for the JVC HR-A62V VCR? b. If the code is not there in One For All library , how to upgrade it? ( I got bunch of codes from the tech support guy - i have to try them tonight , but if they are not there in database what should I do?)
( I don't have JP1 cable yet. I'm planning to get one, if absolutely required )
2. The manual says I can use any key for learning. (Except program keys and device keys). I tried using a number key and it did not work - it gave me 'invalid' error.
Any comments on this? Has anybody tried the same?
3. Can we use any key other than 3 macro keys to store macros? (OK I have to try this one out but just asking...Manual does not say anything about this )
