I had similar problem initially as well. I have the Rxv1300 receiver and 8811 remote.
I emailed OneforAll and they were nice enough to send me a list (took a couple of weeks) of all the advanced codes for the 1300. Using this I created a new device in JP1. CBL/SAT is now assigned to my 1 key. The 'VCR' buttons (play, fwd, rwd, etc...) change the DSP modes (only programmed the ones I use).
You could try code 1176 as well. In the 1300 it controls the zone2 settings.
