The trouble with WW DVD players is that none of us (including UEI) know what signals they use. I tried to help someone with a WW in the past and he was **this** close to sending his remotes to UEI so they could capture the signals and upgrade his remote, but then he bottled out, so we still don't know what the signals are.

Like John said, a JP1 cable is an EXCELLENT investment for anyone with a JP1-capable remote like the 15-2116. In this case, what you would do is stroll over to your neighbor's house and learn some of the buttons from his WW remote using your 15-2116. Then you'd come back home and download the memory using the JP1 software. This would tell you precisely what protocol and device codes that it uses. Then you would give this info to us experts and we would tell you if there's a setup code that's close enough that you can use it.

It's quite possible that this player uses the same signals as some other device, but uses different button codes, in which case, even without JP1, you could program the player using advanced codes. This was the case with the Apex AD600A DVD player, which uses the same signals as the TV/0030 code, and the Raite AV715, which uses the same signals as the TV/0027 code.
