1) What model RS remote are you asking about? An answer you get in this forum would apply only to RS remotes designed by UEI (most of which have JP1 connectors). RS also has remotes not designed by UEI, in which case the UEI setup code (even if you found it) wouldn't help you.
2) If it is a UEI remote and there is a UEI setup code, then learning to your 2116 and downloading to IR.EXE is still the best way to find out the UEI setup code.
