I bought a RS 15-2103 for my mother (to replace a lost remote) after reading about it on this forum. It's now successfully controlling a JVC TV and Panasonic VCR in one room.

In another room there are another JVC TV and a Magnavox VCR, both with old oem remotes. It occurred to me that since both TV's are JVC, maybe it's possible to walk the remote from one room to the next and control both TV's with the remote. If this is so, can I then set up the Magnavox VCR using one of the unused device buttons on the remote?

I searched the forum and didn't find answers...I'm new at this and maybe I'm assuming too much for a $13 item. Thanks for advice.
