Is it possible to modify RS’s new remote 21-2117 to control X10 modules directly? This remote does transmits both RF/IR frequencies at the same time, however the RF doesn’t control X10 modules, but only to its RF extender.

I really don’t want to purchase a separate IR543 IR controller since 2 of my lights that I want to control by X10 are on 2 separate electrical “phases” (house circuit). I use 2 transceivers to correct this problem instead of building a coupler in the fuse panel.

Is there a discrete code that I can use on the 21-2117, use a JP1 cable & add patch to the remote, or can I modify it (hardware wise) to control the X10 modules on-the-fly? If not, is there an IR to RF converter that can send RF signals to the transceivers (TM751) to control my lights?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!
