With JP1 you don't need all that complication of switching the device type back and forth. You can define TAPE/0243 key moves for your receiver device key directly. You also could define 1058 two-byte key moves. For Sony dev 16 that would just waste space vs. using TAPE/0243, but if you have functions with other Sony dev numbers the two byte key moves might be best.
The "priveleged instruction" message is because IR.EXE requires administrator priveledges on some versions of Windows.
