I guess where I'm getting confused is that the table does not list the setup code that works for my receiver. I'm using the 1058 setup code for sony receivers. I've then been using the keymove feature to plug in the advanced codes, but I'm just taking a guess at what those codes are. When I look up the feature that I want to use (Discrete On and Off) in the device tables, I come up with the numbers 46 and 47. I've tried to use the advanced codes listed in the efc table (113, 109, 105, 101) under these two numbers, but they don't work. I'm sure I'm missing a very simple point here; I'm usually quite good at things like this :)
