I would recommend that you get yourself a JP1 cable, then you'll be able to program the 15-1994 to work both receivers. You could also use a JP1 tool called the "Device Multiplexor" which would enable you to stack both codes onto the one device button.

The 15-2116 is an 8 device learning remote with an LCD screen, whereas the 15-1994 is a 7 device remote (if you include the P&P device button) without an LCD screen. Plus of course, the 15-2116 has a more up to date code library.

Whenever you ask for advanced codes, you need to specify which setup code you are using, as that's what we use to look them up. I'm guessing that you're using TV/0145 for your Hitachi, so I looked up the codes
here and the code for ASPECT is 074

According to the list for TV/0145 on my site, there are discrete codes available for all 5 inputs.

I thought the last question was the "final" question! :)
Personally, I think the 15-2116 is a better remote than either of the 8 device Kameleons (ie, the Radio Shack 15-2138 and the One For All URC-9960) but the Kameleons are alot prettier! :)
