Regret, if I have mis-communicated earlier.

I am making 15-2117 learn from my Denon remote. It learned a couple (that too after repated tries) - later, ERRORed out everytime I tried. And I tried for nearly 45-mins with different angles, distances, etc.

(The point about RM-AV2500 is that it learnt on the first try from my Denon remotes. I was just giving a comparison. I didn't try 15-2117 learn from RM-AV2500.)

I will try with Johnsfine' option. I do remember defaulting it to factory settings - but not sure, that would have erased the learned keys. I will try and let you know..

Meanwhile, I would like to hear the experiences of others who have done learnign with 15-2117? Is there anything special which need to be done for learning? Like Angles - 45% , 30% placment etc ? Whatever keys 15-2117 learnt is due to my 35-40% placement.
