I seem to be hitting a rough patch with making 15-2117 learn from my Denon AVReceiver's (RC-865) remote commands.

I tried all possible positionining - angles, distances - though I managed to make it learn a few keys, I spent another 30-45 minutes to try it learn a few more keys from by receiver's remote - hitting a big road block here. (I didn't yet try this with my other remotes VCR/DVD etc)

Anybody using 15-2117 suggest a better working way to make it learn. Is this a problem even with OFA URC 9910 - guess, they are the same remotes..

Is JP1 the only alternative ?

On the other hand, I also have a Sony RM-AV2500 - learning is a easy operation there! Just one try - that's it. Done.
