I read that it has two screens that have to be
accessed to handle all satellite functions.

Not all Kameleons are the same, some are better in this regard than others, but they all support the concept of multiple screens in order to support as many different functions as they do. I believe the URC-9960 is better than the 15-2133 with regards to the multiple screens.

I thought that you should always start a new thread
when you have a new question.

If the question is completely un-related to the previous question, then yes you should, but if you just have more general questions about the same remote (in other words, a continuation of the conversation) then it's better to keep them in the same thread as this gives us more context. Those of us that answer 100s of posts here usually don't notice the posters id, so when you break you questions into multiple threads, we may not notice that they're all from the same person, but you (the poster) will probably expect us to remember details that you've mentioned in your earlier posts (and we won't remember them).

Otherwise, how would anyone know you have asked something else.

Everytime you post something new to a thread, it gets bumped back to the top of the list.

How can you purchase a JP-1 cable in Canada?

The same way you would from the US, go to one of these two web sites:

http://jp1.filebug.com
