Well, I just wanted to thank all of you for helping me out one more time. I ended up calling customer service one last time and they could not figure it out (this was before the last 2 posts). The gentleman I spoke with advised me to purchase a URC-8811 because it can "learn" from the original remote. I decided to go with this advice since I had another use for the 6131. However, the DVD player I need it to work needs to be programmed into the remote. I sent the 6131 in to be programmed today.

I will be buying an 8811 shortly. Will this help me?
