Rob ~ I used AMP/0074 (JVC) in my 1994. The 2116 doesn't have 0074 in it, which surprised even the c/s rep......and her only suggestion was to move up to the Kameleon models (which doesn't have 0074 either) to download it. She even mentioned that she's never heard of the 0331 code that's being used for JVC in these newer models.
I agree - will probaly get the JP1 cable - to ensure I don't have to go through this again as I upgrade my equipment.
