I bought a clearanced RCA Home Theatre in a box
(model number rt2360) this week that did not come
with the original remote control. (It was a floor
model, but it was a really great deal.) I bought
the 15-2116 because it would work with everything,
including our cable box menu system! It works
wonderfully. Does what I think it should do,
etc.
My question is how do I change the source input
buttons? Right now, buttons 0 - 9 change between
the various inputs, but they don't contain all
of the input options and some are duplicated.
(eg. both 0 and 4 select the tuner) I have tried
all of the listed RCA codes, and only the factory
preset will control the receiver at all (code
1254). The HTIB code in the manual for RCA also
does not work.

To do this you need to reprogram your other devices temporary, with the following codes VCR-0060, SAT-0392, and DVD-0522. To get the DVD command:
1. press DVD
2. press and hold P
3. press SELECT
4. enter 0-5-2-2
5. press SELECT
1. press DVD
2. press and hold P
3. scroll down to KEYMOVER
4. press SELECT
5. press DVD
6. tap P
7. enter 2-2-7
8. press SELECT
9. press AUX or AUDIO, whichever you are using for receiver
10. pick a key
Now repeat, but substitute SAT & code 0392 for DVD & 0522.
