I have the 15-2117 and it works very well under most circumstances in another room using the RF box. The box is in the same room as an LCD computer monitor and when the monitor is on, I can see the red status LED blinking through the window on the front of the box. At this time, the remote's RF function is rendered useless, and since the box is aimed at all of my entertainment gear, my IR remote (15-2104) behaves erratically as well. When the monitor is off, the LED indicates that the unit is idle and all operations function normally (the LED only blinks when an RF signal is sent from the 15-2117 remote unit). The solution that entails turning the monitor off or removing it all together is feasible, but I was simply wondering if anyone has ever heard of anything like this happening. I am stumped, so any suggestions whatsoever are welcomed.

UPDATE:
I disassembled the RF box, removed the telescoping antenna, and the box still receives the remote's signal but not the interference.
