First, I am new to this and really appreciate the work many have put into this forum and the JP1 group. I'm trying to get up to speed on the JP1 programming, as that looks like the way to go in the long run. Until then, I was hoping I could get a little help with advanced code programming.

I just got a 15-2116 and am confused as to which advanced codes to use and how to enter them. I have a Technics SA-EX900 receiver (don't have the original remote) and am trying to program advanced codes to be able to control center and surround speaker volume levels.

I used device code 1308 at initial setup and that appears to work fine for the basic controls.

At the above site, I assume the Amp & Receiver code 0308 is the appropriate one to see the applicable advanced codes? If so, can someone provide an example of how to program a button to decrease the surround speaker volume (advanced code 088 on that site)?

Based on Rob's above thread, would I:

1) Hold SETUP (green P), till screen reads "CODE SET"
2) Scroll down to "KEYMOVER",
3) Press SELECT, screen reads "FROM MODE"
4) Press the AUDIO button, screen reads "FROM KEY"
5) Press SETUP, screen reads "SYNT"
6) Type 088 digit advanced code
7) Press SELECT, screen reads "TO MODE"
8) Press the AUDIO button, screen reads "TO KEY"
9) Press the STOP button (or any other available button), screen reads "SUCCESS"?
